SOC496-Fall 2013 Description

Under the request of a student this course was a guided in depth study of sociological theories and their approaches to the Sociology of Law. We reviewed some general definitions and characterizations to the Sociology of Law to the analyze the works of Weber, Durkheim, Habermas and Bourdieu on this topic. The outcome of this course was an annotated bibliography on this topic and a final paper.
